LESSONS
Muriwai Surf School currently coaches over twenty schools from the Auckland Region. We will customise a package to suit your needs.
All our lessons take 1.5 - 2 hours and include great quality equipment.
They are taught by fully qualified, experienced surf instructors in a fun and safe learning environment.
Our Instructors will be in the water with you at all times.

Children will learn how to stay safe in the ocean while progressing their surf skills!
If you are a school teacher and want to bring your students surfing, get in touch! Here are some options we currently do for schools-
After School Lessons- One afternoon a week for 4 continuous weeks.
One Off- A one off lesson, perfect for a form class or exchange students looking to try surfing.
NCEA- We can help customise a package to get you students NCEA credits.
Overnighter- Stay at one of our local campgrounds and surf for a few days in a row!
Elite- Designed for competition surfers, we will work on heat strategies and also fine tune techniques using video analysis.
AFTER SCHOOL TRAINING

Group Lessons - Monday to Friday 5pm.
Designed for children aged 9 to 17 years and split into groups similar to your age.
One evening a week for four weeks or by arrangement.
Minimum of 5 students.
The lessons will be progressing and depend on the groups skill level, we will focus on beach and ocean safety, pop-up techniques and move on to turning, duckdiving ect.
Progressing lessons that cater for all levels from beginner to elite surfers.
